The BoxPerform Approach

Initial Consultation Call

  • Personalized Approach: We start with a complimentary 15-minute phone or video call to discuss your goals, assess your fitness level, and address any questions you may have.

The First Session

  • The Basics: Our initial session is crafted around your specific goals for boxing. Do you want to get fitter and stronger? Do you want to box to help you lose weight? We’ve got you covered! Our approach is tailor-made for you.

Moving Forward

  • Bespoke Workouts: After our initial session. We create a long-term plan. Whether its losing weight, competing in the sport or just plain old love of the sport! We’ll put goals into place and devise a plan that will help you reach them with flying colours.

Weekly Check-Ins & Ongoing Support

  • Weekly Guidance: We have our weekly check-ins every Wednesday. This is optional, but for those with weight loss goals or competition goals it’s a great asset to stay on target. These are over Whatsapp but you can always feel free to reach out to us at any point during the week if you have any questions!

  • Indoor, Outdoor, or At-Home: Choose a convenient setting for your training sessions, whether it's at one of our indoors facilities, in the great outdoors, or within the comfort of your own home.

 FAQs

  • The majority of our outdoor sessions are based in Vauxhall Gardens, London. A beautiful park in Vauxhall with various places to exercise. Occasionally we travel to our clients for outdoor or at-home sessions - if you are interested in the latter then send us the location that would work for you and we will send you a quote.

  • 100%! Our head coach has not only been coaching boxing for several years, but is also a fully qualified physical therapist and personal trainer. Therefore, we are fully confident in building your fitness levels slowly at a pace that is right for you whilst hitting your goals! As part of our assessment we check your blood pressure and various other health checks, if these flag up we may have to send you to our GP prior to training with us, although this is rare.

  • You can book a call Monday-Sunday from 7am-9pm depending on availabillty. You can book a call here.

  • The list is endless but we would say the main benefits are learning a skill for life that will increase your confidence and reduce your stress. It’s also excellent for your health! We know the guidelines for cardiovascular exercise are difficult for people to fit into there schedules, but with boxing not only are you getting that exercise in, but it’s a form of exercise you’ll love and be able to stick to for the long-haul.

  • Boxing is a great form of exercise to increase your daily calorie expenditure and will definitely aid your weight loss goals, but your coach will support you with the bigger picture also. As part of joining BoxPerform we give you our free Nutrition Guide which will educate you on the foundations of nutrition and will get you off the ground running on your weight loss journey!

  • Absolutely not. Is it advised? Yes! Just for hygiene purposes and having your own gear allows you to practice outside of sessions if you so desire. We can supply you with gloves for your sessions and they are cleaned after each session.

  • Ideally 2/3x per week with one of the BoxPerform coaches. However, for many this isn’t feasible, but once per week should be the minimum. Your coach will send you boxing routines to complete weekly if your main goal is to get better at boxing, these should be completed at least twice per week.

  • Yes, of course! We have had many of our clients compete at a variety of levels. However, we don’t currently train professional fighters. If you want to enquire about coaching and you are a professional, we can put you in touch with a credible coach in the industry that can help you navigate the pro’s!

  • Of course! We have a weekly check-in every Wednesday regardless, however, if you do have questions throughout the week feel free to message your coach and you will get a response between the hours of 7am and 9pm Monday to Sunday.
